Christian founded Smart Taxicab in 2016 with a simple goal: fill the gap for students who fall outside traditional school bus routes. A serial entrepreneur who has launched multiple companies, he leads the business end-to-end — district partnerships, operations, compliance, and the technology that keeps routes running. Under his direction, Smart Taxicab has grown from a single-vehicle operation into a trusted partner for school districts across the St. Louis region. Christian’s focus is on one outcome: a child arriving at school safe, on time, and ready to learn.
Mahedere brings more than 35 years of St. Louis transportation experience to Smart Taxicab. As Fleet Manager, he is responsible for keeping every vehicle safe, inspected, maintained, and on the road — and for making sure the drivers behind the wheel meet the standard families expect. His decades in the industry mean our fleet runs on experience, not guesswork.
Emmanuel keeps the operation organized. As Administrator, he manages scheduling, driver records, compliance documentation, and day-to-day communication with schools and families. When a school calls about a route change or a parent needs an answer, Emmanuel is the one who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.
